July GlossyBox

Glossy

This month’s GlossyBox was a Seaside Splash Theme, it wasn’t overly impressive but it wasn’t terrible. I received a sun screen by Coola and some Sleek Sticks by Essie, both were products I wasn’t very interested in. I also got two Sleek Pout Paints, one in white, which shocked me a little at first, and another in a very vibrant hot pink. The idea behind this product is that you can add it to another lip colour to create your own new colour, some people received an electric blue Pout Paint – now that would have been interesting! I do not use these products for their intended purpose, I use the white as a base for certain eye shadows, to brighten up the inner corner of my eye, or to highlight my brow bone (in extreme).   I warn you that you only need a very minute amount of it as it is insanely pigmented!
I also received a bottle of facial spritz by Anatomicals, which you can read more about in my July Favourites!
I have also enjoyed using the Bamboo Style ‘Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist’. I find it to by a mix between a hair spray and a salt spray, it doesn’t give my hair the texture that a salt spray does, but it holds it softly in place, like that of a hair spray. Overall I like this product, it is being used repeatedly so there can’t be much wrong, but I would have to have a think before I considered buying another one.

June Favourites

june

First of all I need to apologise for the extreamly bad quality of picture, I don’t know what happened..
Anyway, this is my first favourites post, so I am excited!!

In my favourites this month:
Bee Strong Conditioner by Herbal Essences
My Custom Eyeshadow Pallete by Fashionista
Superdrug’s Vitamin E oil
NUXE oil
Black Fluid Lady Gaga Perfume
E.L.F High Definition Powder
Maybelline 24 Hour Matte Lip Colour – Fire Coral
Lancome Hypnose Mascara

I’m sure we have all seen the new fab advert by the amazing Nicole Scherzinger, for the Bee Strong Herbal Essences range. I have found this conditioner to be sooo thick and creamy compared to their other ranges, believe me when I say it smells incredible. I won’t stop using my Bed Head shampoo and I find that this conditioner works with it perfectly!

I wrote a post before on Fashionista Cosmetics so if your interested I would suggest you have a look, I love these eyeshadows and reach for this pallete everytime I am doing my makeup, woohoo.

So after my June GlossyBox and after receiving my NUXE oil, I started to use it on my face and loved it, so I decided to go out and get a cheaper alternative, Superdrug’s Vitamin E Oil, and I love it maybe a little more, and use it everyday. I have dry skin so any areas that need a little TLC, this stuff does the trick!!

While I was on holiday in Glasgow, I came across Lady Gaga’s perfume ‘Black Fluid’ on an amazing offer – I think it was about £15 – I gave it a sniff and bought it instantly.. I never used to remember to put perfume on everyday, but i always look forward to spraying this stuff.

Seeing as it’s summer I find that I am having to make sure I set my foundation properly otherwise, with the oddly amazing weather we are having, it will melt off my face. So recently I went back to last years greatest product by ELF, their HD powder, its translucent, feels like silk and sets my makeup perfectly. (50% off everything at ELF)

Now the Maybelline Lip colour and Lancome Hypnose Mascara are products that I have been using for months now, but still hold a place in this months favourites, this is my all time favourite lip colour as its different from your classic red and I have found it to be perfect for summer! Again, while I was in Glasgow I came across an AMAZING deal on Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara, a pack of two for £34, oooooo. So once I have finished my original Hypnose I will move onto those. I love this mascara as it really lengthens the lashes and no matter how many layers you apply it will never get clumpy!

I’m sure we are all looking forward to July’s GlossyBox, dispatching today!!
